Had a blood test 8.15am. I waited a good ten minutes. The nurse was flustered because her computer was misbehaving - I felt a little uneasy because of her attitude. I’ve had many blood tests over the past year - this one was with a different nurse - asked me if I had drunk any water beforehand (yes, one pint) she said my veins were spongy and it hurt a little. Very unusual. I left feeling saddened by my experience - not the calm and caring feeling I’ve left with in the past - and made me reflect upon this visit - not the usual attitude I expect from a medical practitioner. Perhaps she was having a bad day. I thought this feedback may be helpful - I’m usually very satisfied with my visits to the surgery. Sincerely Mark Clayton

Suggested improvements
My usual nurse (Kim I think?) would have been better! Her dinosaur reflects her mood! Always leave feeling happy after seeing her, and I know she is pressurised.
