My attendance at Pebsham Surgery on 29 October could not have been better. My criticism would be the receptionist input prior to this date. Having been told of an earlier date for minor surgery, on attendance I was told the Receptionist had only booked me for a follow up appointment. Hence a surgery date had to be re arranged. On attending for surgery on 29 October the Receptionist could not have been better. However, I was witness to another patient having attended for surgery was told she had not been booked in by the previous Receptionist despite sending a confirmation email.

Suggested improvements
Clearly there is a problem with the administration of booking appointments by the Pebsham Receptionist. Non appointments clearly cause distress for patients given current waiting times, let alone the extra cost to NHS.
