I phoned at 8am and the call was declined before i could even discuss my son with anyone, how can you triage the seriousness of the problem without speaking with the patient?? The triage list closes once 150 patients are added across 4 surgeries? How on earth is that acceptable? When a patient phones at 8am they need to be put in a queue system NOT have the call cut off without any discussion, that's absolutely disgraceful, you have no idea what you may be rejecting!! Not only is it unacceptable it is also potentially extremely dangerous. I am a Dr's Receptionist in another surgery in Bexhill-on-Sea and we would never dismiss our patients with such blatant disregard, i am honestly shocked with you procedure.

Suggested improvements
You really need to accept all phonecalls, you need to listen to the problem and maybe then triage, you absolutely should not be dismissing calls and cutting the patient off before you know what you're dealing with!!
