The whole process was streamline.
I was treated professionally, with dignity and respect. I felt like I was heard.
Getting an appointment by telephone is a complete nightmare, good luck getting through!
I made my appointment at the desk, as I was seen at the minor injuries unit and they had requested an appointment with sister/nurse.
You do not have a clear written triage policy. You seem to treat all patients the same through failing to demonstrate flexibility and sensitivity to their individual needs.
On hold for 40minutes and constantly being told 2nd in queue, eventually got to speak to a receptionist who wanted to know why I was calling and said that if I didn't tell her then they would not help me. Understand there is a triage system by force, not pleasant when you have to pour out your mental health issues even though your counsellor wrote a letter to them which took over a week for them to even bother to acknowledge. After 52 minutes I was offered a call back on the 30th December which is 37 days away !!!!!
The whole practice is a total joke, seems they do all they can to NOT bother to help or care for you. You cannot even go in and make an appointment at the front desk, but you can try if you step outside and phone them (Just make sure your phone is 100% charged)
It takes a really long time to get through, you can be on hold for over an hour. Getting appointments for long term conditions can take over a month until a date is available. Sometimes you get confusing information which can mean even more time on hold on the phone. I have had very helpful receptionist when I do get through and some helpful doctors/nurses.
It seems that there is less opportunities for face to face appointments which can make things difficult.
