I was at the surgery for a blood test and needed to book an appointment for a new medical problem. Receptionist was polite but refused to book appointment and told me I'd have to phone. Not helpful or particularly efficient. I wasn't after am immediate or face to face appointment. I rang to make appointment was cut off four times and it took five hours to get through. I was told GP would phone me which he did within an hour. It is poor customer service as face to face conversation with Receptionist would have been no different to a phone call
