Getting through was difficult. I did find the pre messages quite aggressive and the shouty notices in the surgery. I agree people should be polite but when the surgery has gone backwards since Covid, I can understand why some people would be unhappy. The receptionist had to get some help as she was on a call, so a queue formed while she was helping a caller as she was the only one on desk duty. I am going to ask the question we all want to know…..how many doctors are in residence? I know it’s not going to be like it used to be but it just feels worlds apart from the service that is available else where. I do feel for the receptionists, as it’s not a job that you get any thanks for.

Suggested improvements
Really think about the reception area. It is not welcoming at all. It’s a giant barrier with lots of home made laminated signs. I am a friendly person but this put my back up immediately. When you are not feeling well, it doesn’t help the situation.
