The surgery is shocking I’m not surprised there ratings have gone done , receptionist speak to you like your a child and very disgraceful they don’t like speaking to patients anymore they would rather pass you on to the answer machine instead of speaking to you like a human ,I only phone as I had forgot to order my repeat prescription and was made to pass from one person to another then told IN FUTURE ring and press 1 and speak to the answer machine and how am I suppose to do that when the answer machine dosnt speak back ,disgusting 1 to 1 by the receptionist
Booked in on automated so didn’t see receptionist:
I went with my mum who is 85 . She saw Louise Stanworth . I have to say that she is an asset to St Paul’s . She was so thorough and was so attentive and reassuring to my mums needs . Restored our faith . Should be more like her .
I ordered my repeat prescription on Saturday 15th January and went to collect it at chemist today but told that it hasn't been put through to them so no pills for me and have to ring doctors on Monday to see why and re order so i am out of some of my pills until this is sorted out.
Absolutely shocking that nothing has improved. The merger of surgeries a few years agowas intended to improve patient care and create more appointments. Now not only can you not get an appointment (you have to schedual being ill enough to warrent a gp appointment 8-12 weeks in advance as you have no chance of getting in any earlier), you spend over 30 minutes trying to get through to reception to be snapped at and disrespected. I am a long term patient here but it is now beyond a joke. Misdiagnosis of common dangerous illnesses, blood tests lost and records not even looked at and this is at its best! Unfortunately a lovely family friendly surgery has turned into an absolute shambles. I will be transferring my children's care to another surgery as soon as is possible as I fear patient care is no longer a priority.
I am sorry to comment that nothing is improving, 40 minute wait to speak to reception, never see the same doctor or nurse, do feel at times no one really cares.
Appointments changed or cancelled last minute, it is always easier to go to surgery to make appointment.
Relative of mine who has pace maker, telephoned by doctor, told to ask to see a doctor, at next day appointment with nurse, told at reception not possible ...Ambulance called to surgery to take relative to infirmary!!!!!!!!
Have been in queue at North Carlisle when an elderly gentleman was trying to make appointment, he was not treated at all well, no respect or care shown to him, he was confused and ended up walking out.
Well pharmacy online ordering is very good, Pharmacist most helpful.
