Got told by receptionist it would be a week to she seen. I then contacted sally who got me a telephone appointment with dr Harvey and he see me that afternoon regarding pain in my legs down to water retention aft we r chemo

Suggested improvements
Reception I know have to ask questions but nothing this time about why. It’s not the first time I’ve not been able to get an appointment when having treatment for cancer

Exceptionally easy compared to any other surgery I have been involved with.

Suggested improvements
I was completely happy. Your practitioners are all friendly and professional. The tiredness of the building does not bother me at all. It’s the people that matter.

Whilst you do need to be on the phone at 8am on the dot, I was able to get a 09:20 am appointment the same day. Doctor Harvey was excellent, warm friendly manner, very thorough questionimg and examination, a very good G.P indeed.

Suggested improvements
Anything to make the process of booking an appointment easier (although I realise that might not be possible given current resource constraints)

If you have online access you are able to book appointments two weeks in advance - if you do not have access please request this it is very simple to set up

I would like to thank all the staff at our surgery, GPs, Nurses and the Admin staff, for being really helpful on every occasion. I feel blessed to be registered at the Byfield Medical Centre.

Suggested improvements
I can't think of any at the moment. Will share my views in future, if needed.

I was accommodated very quickly for an appointment following an accident. Dr Nawaz is always excellent and calm in a crisis too!

Suggested improvements
Not on this occasion, but several times previously when collecting prescriptions, I have found the reception team to be a little rude. I know everyone is very busy, but it feels like you are eing deliberately ignored for a period. It would be so courteous if someone could just say, 'I'll be with you in a moment' rather than leaving you standing there awkwardly wondering if you have been noticed. This does not apply to all the team....most are fantastic!
