The appointment has been timely, the staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you for this and just keep it up.

The appointment booking telephone system maybe it can be improved. I have made some 7 calls and 2 of them were disconnected, lost my place in the queue and did not get to book the appointment on that very day

I am very grateful for all the help i have had, a special thanks to nurse Holly. Not sure i would be where i am today if it was not for her. A true caring nurse, thank you. Also to the pharmacist team, at my own fault I didn’t realise one of my medication wasn’t on repeat prescription, the lady was very helpful and did her very best i was able to get my prescription and i was able to go elsewhere to get it as needed ASAP. Again, thank you

I rang on Tuesday at 9am thinking I will never get an appointment because I didn’t call at 8am. The receptionist was polite and approachable and although there were no appointments available for that day she asked me if I would like her to look for the next appointment available. This is the first time I have experienced this- it was refreshingly helpful. Normally I am told to ring up tomorrow at 8 am and I am always left feeling it is survival of the fittest! If you are well enough to get up, make the 8am call and persevere while you’re 8th in the queue you may get lucky. I really liked this change of approach. It’s based less on luck and your speed dial capability; more on responding to need. It’s more inclusive and equitable- patients don’t have to draw heavily on emotional resilience to keep making the effort when they feel poorly. An appointment was made for Friday morning- only 3 days away. The system from my experience was positive- faultless!

There have been ongoing plans to build a new surgery. The existing one is dated and more than a little tired and shabby. However, the quality of care is excellent.

A new building that is fit for purpose. We are very worried that the surgery will close and we fully support plans to build a new surgery.
