The appointment was vis a phone. The diabetic team nurse called me, and didn’t know why she was calling me ? So I said I’d had a blood test and it was to inform me of any change in medication needed. She seemed very unsure what she was talking about, a lot if noises not words? Then she said I’ll send you a email of what you can have, insulin or a tablet ? You can choose !!
I don’t want to chose my medication, I want what is best for me !! I never received that information.

She could have read up on my notes, and told me an informed opinion. Of what was best.
I felt I was in a sweet shop, being asked what I’d like.

Re appointments , you phone at 8am in morning and you are told you are ? In the queue.then when you finally get through you are told no appointments available and to phone first thing in morning, so you do and again to be told (more often than not) all appointments gone,

I realise the surgery has increased in size to what it use to be but with this village still growing we either need a much bigger surgery so we can have more doctors or another surgery built elsewhere

Hello, I am sorry that you are struggling to get an appointment, are you aware that we now offer an econsult service? this can be accessed via our website (https://www.billingshurstsurgery.co.uk/appointment-system.php) or if you have the NHS app, via the "ask my GP for advice" section in the NHS app, all you need to do is complete the econsult form, this is then processed by our econsult team and you will either be given advice, signposted to a local service or given an appointment with the most appropriate clinician for your condition, the appointments can be face to face or via the telephone, depending on your preference.
