It is not easy to get an appointment on the phone. I usually ho yonthe surgery. The "on the day" appointment system is ridiculous. I saw a young locum Dr who had yo fill in an online form for a referral appointment for me. She muttered, and l didn't know if she was talking to me or not. Needs sort on patient interaction! She wrote a referral letter also for an orthopaedic consultation which has 2 factual errors in it. I have NOT had the symptoms for only 3 months, that is when l had the x Ray. Also, the x Ray report says moderate to severe degeneration. I felt she disregarded my pain. So, to sum up, receptionists doing their best with the system, but l feel personally, reluctant to even try to get an appointment. Makes me feel like a nuisance, so people like me just try to self medicate znd put up with problems .....until it is too late.

It would be marvellous to have a gp who knew you personally!

When I rang the receptionist was considerate, patient, and offered me a choice of appointments. All are receptionists are highly trained and superb. I then saw the practice nurse who was kind and compassionate and treated me very well. Overall an excellent experience.

The car park is tight to get in and out 9f

Needed to see the nurse re removal of stitches so appointment was found for me on day requested.

Sort out the phone system. On my first call I was told I was 3rd in queue but still being told that some 30 minutes later. Hung up then redialled and got through straight away. This happens quite a lot since you changed the phone system.

You never can just ring and speak to reception your now always in a que for at least 10 to 15 minutes. But only since the system that worked got changed??????

Not changed the system. People don't always have the time to wait????????

Tried to make a doctors appointment in person. Next available was about 2 - 3 weeks away.

The appointment was fine, no problems. It's the length of time to get an appointment that's the issue
