Great service. Friendly staff. The doctor was brilliant and listened and explained issue and my options.

Ive not been to helm chase surgery for over 20 years, I was welcomed by the lovely girls on reception to which gave a friendly and professional insight to where in the building I needed to go. I didn't have to wait long before I was taken by my dermatologist Dr, who was a lovely lady and was able to give me a clear diagnosis for my condition. Which made me feel comfortable . The information she gave about the condition including links for me to read more on it. I came away with a prescription and a recommendation for another cream which sadly isn't on the NHS which it should be. Alopecia is very common and should be given the same treatments as any other skin condition. £50 for a highly recommended product which is vital for my and many others condition should be available on the NHS . As I'm unable to work to to my disabilities £50 is a lot of money but I will get it as she said she wishes it was available on the NHS as people like myself need this treatment to help recover . That was my only downfall of the appointment. The Dr I saw was kind, caring and explained everything in clear detail. She was even able to give me advice moving forward and answered my questions. I came away feel content . Now it's time for the potions and lotions to work. I am also able to see her again if I get any more episodes.
