Most unprofessional Reception staff I have ever seen. They sit out the back chatting and eating bowls of food leaving sick patients waiting at the front and look at You like you’re a nuisance if you ring the bell and force them from their seats. Completely incapable of ordering repeat prescriptions, and seemingly allergic to politeness! Very rude receptionist who was more interested in arguing with me and being difficult than helping, the supervisor Who then promised to fix their mistake of yet another missed prescription told me to head to the pharmacy on the Friday to collect it, and when I arrived surprise surprise NO PRESCRIPTION! I called back really fed up that not only had my antibiotic course had now been disrupted for 4 days with extreme temperature and no asthma inhalers and several calls being made to get help the only one person who helped in the very end was a lady called susie who i thank. But the reception are very rude very unhelpful and shouldn’t be in their current roles if they don’t want to help or talk to patients. It’s a shame as the doctors are actually ok it’s just the front staff and management! The reception staff are more interested in stuffing their faces out the back and challenging you on the phone and being difficult as they possibly can be than actually helping sick people. I finally recieved the amoxicillin which they decided to be difficult again and rather than send it electronically as requested and usual method they decided to post it to boots! causing Too long of a break in my antibiotic course with no explanation if it’s ok to just restart the course half finished leaving me very ill. I’ve so far Called twice to make a complaint and told both times Richard the surgery manager will call me back, but he still hasn’t to this day. So if they don’t want to take my complaint privately, I will share it here.
