I just wanted to inform you that xxx is now a full time resident at xxxxx Care Home. I wish to state on record how grateful xxxx and I are for the exceptional care the whole practice gave her in the 2 years she was with Longcroft Clinic. This in no small part due to the complete team effort from all of the Practice staff both clinical and non-clinical, she always said, even in her darkest hours, she felt safe and well looked after when she had appointments with any of the Clinic's staff. The team's dedication truly made a difference to xxxx well-being Too often there is so much bad press about GP practices, this is a shining example of how Longcroft delivered great care to my sister, you should all be justifiably proud of yourselves. Please share this message with everyone involved as you are all stars in xxxx eyes. Thank you again for everything you've done.

I am a patient of the Clinic for 16 years. I never had a bad experience. As a working person, I like that many things can be sorted/communicated online.

I am lucky enough to have had Longcroft Clinic as my local surgery since 1977. I am absolutely thrilled with the diagnosis and treatment I am currently receiving....in December I contacted them and was immediately given suitable treatment by a gentle caring doctor. Since then, a different condition has arisen, (dramatic weight loss despite normal diet). The doctor organised full blood tests, chest xray and abdominal ultrasound within two weeks (I was away for a week).. both were completed within half and hour at Epsom District Hospital and my doctor texted result of x ray within two hours! Today I had the abdominal ultrasound, which showed a condition that needed further investigation. I've just had a phone call from our original doctor (who has been our GP since 1977) who has seen the scan and is making an urgent appointment for a CT scan because of concerns... Longcroft Clinic is offering a wonderful service at an extremely difficult time for the NHS - it is a proof of the dedication and truly caring professionalism of their staff. I cannot see how they can improve..... the most expensive private health care could not do better. We are so fortunate... Liz Cooper, Banstead, (31 August 2023)

I always feel at ease once I’ve seen Dr Natasha Ray. She’s such a happy kind Dr. She talks to you like a human, she’s sympathetic and shows compassion. Whenever I go to see Dr Ray, she will always ask how my husband and daughter are using their first names. Makes you feel that she knows you as a family. I think I would consider changing Doctors if she wasn’t there. I do think that some of the receptionist could be friendlier, hence the score. I have however, recently been helped by Francis and I can’t praise her enough. Very helpful, kind and shows compassion.

One receptionist very rude and patronising. No customer care skills.. Huffed and puffed when a patient requested to see the practice manager as she clearly didn’t want to help him. Then had the audacity tocomplain to her colleague about how ‘rude ‘ the patient had been,.. not the case at all! Lack of professionalism ,lack of insight, lack of patient confidentiality. This lady clearly needs further training, support and supervision or else have a role in the back office, not patient facing. Why do this job if you clearly don’t like it/ have the skill set/ patience/ empathy/ ability to work under pressure. The other receptionist on the other hand couldn’t have been nicer!

My husband and I came up to the surgery last Saturday for a booked flu jab. After reading about the 'broken' NHS and in particular the bad press about GP surgeries we arrived with some trepidation. However, we were delighted to be warmly welcomed at the door and dealt with respectfully but with friendly manner by the receptionist. The nurse was lovely, weighed us, took our blood pressure and then booked me in for a pneumococcal vaccination the following week. As we left the surgery, we were asked if we wanted a mini-heart ECG - never ones to turn something free down, we agreed. This quick test was simple and painless. It was an excellent example of preventative medicine. All in all, a very pleasant visit to the surgery. Well done, Long Croft! Best wishes, Alison Cattermole.
