Ladybarn Group Practice

I have been with this practice for over 15 years. I have always found GP’s and reception staff friendly and helpful. The doctors never rush you during your consultation and it’s great that you can book a double appointment if needed

I was calling regarding my appointment in the morning 8 O clock they had not answered my calls and then I have tried calling them again for my test results and they have not answered the phone till 32 minutes so I have to walked to surgery with high temperature to book my appointment, very disappointed

Following a serious illness last year I needed ongoing medical care from this practice. I have no complaints about my treatment by any of the staff who I have found to be helpful, caring and concerned to make sure I received the correct treatment. I registered with this practice a year ago and have to say they are a significant improvement on my previous GP practice in another area where often the phone would just not be answered at all except by a voice message to try later, and getting an appointment was like drawing teeth. No practice is perfect but I have great confidence in Ladybarn Group Practice and would recommend to anyone looking for a modern professional medical practice who take care of their patients.

Unfortunately, my review of the individual GP does not match my overall review of the practice. Some of the nurses at the practice seem to exist to make life difficult and the reception staff are rude and innefficient. To make a simple appointment, a series of questions has to be answered to which the response is usually rude or unconstructive. I shall continue to attend Ladybarn Group Practice so I can continue to receive treatment when necessary under Dr Walkley, however if her were to move on, I would certainly either follow or change doctors.
