Absolute shambles of a GP practice. Completely doctor led care with very little care for the patients. You’re not allowed to question any decisions they make, but if you did they wouldn’t listen to you anyway. Forget being a patient who is well informed about their own condition or illness, what they say goes and they don’t like to be questioned. Frequent mistakes with regard to prescriptions and dates for check ups, Avoid this surgery. The only bonus is the new premises are clean, but that’s because there’s rarely anyone there. Some receptionists are quite rude, some however are kind and helpful. There’s been a high turnover for doctors in recent years. I’ve had some phone appointments with different drs where they’ve talked so much, I couldn’t get a word in. They never read your notes either, never. The online forms as well are only open for a set amount of time so miss that and you have to wait another day. Overall, used to be a great practice until the likes of Dr Houghton and Dr Sharpe left, it’s now absolutely terrible.
- Listen to the patients. Don’t treat patients like you’re doing them a favour by speaking to them. Don’t treat people like they’re just a number. Don’t force treatments on people without discussion or telling them they’re difficult because they’re worried about the outcomes of the treatment. Read what repeat prescription the patient wants and actually prescribe it instead of prescribing something else, which is then blamed on the patient for not asking correctly. Actually read a patients notes instead of ignoring them, actually listen to the patient and show that you at least pretend to care.

hopeless booking system meant to frustrate rather than help ,The receptionist are most helpful but can't get pass an utterly useless booking system. When you actually get to see a doctor they are excellent and supportive but the technology behind the practice is useless and is a discredit to it . GO private if you can afford it -your health is too important to be entrusted to a third world system .
- It's a pity that the GPs are measured by the practices efficiency -Scrap the stupid timing schedule requiring you to wait on the phone at 8 in the morning only to find your 8th in the queue and loosing the will to live . you then try and make contact at one only to be told -come back the next day . The stupidity of this third rate system defies belief.

- Don't ask a patient to fill forms every day just to have an appointment booked with a couple of days notice

Not easy to get appointments regardless of having a small baby. In fact, they have book me to attend the clinic twice on a day because they cannot accommodate an appointment around the same time or on a different day when I already have injections being done.

You need to train your staff in trauma informed care because you all judge mental health patients and you antagonise them because you don’t understand about trauma informed responses. It is my experience that you will continue to cause unnecessary distress until you do. Please listen.
