I was extremely happy with how my barium swallow was performed today by Andy Wilkinson. I was told clearly how the procedure would be done. He asked several important questions and made me feel at ease along with the nurse who was in the room. Excellent

Andy welcomed me with a friendly greeting and explained the procedure to me and gave me the opportunity to ask any questions which I thought was great. The whole procedure went smoothly with clear instructions from Andy with the addition of my health and safety when returning to stand on my feet after being laid backwards by the machine. At the end of the scan he told me clearly what would happen next and the possible time frame for my results to come through.All involved in my visit were a credit to the City Hospital. Thanks vey much.

I have just had a barium swallow and would like to say a big thank you to both Andy and the nurse that was assisting him . I apologise for forgetting her name . They were both professional and efficient but also friendly and caring and put me at my ease . The whole experience was quick and straight forward .

I saw Mr Wilkinson this morning. He was friendly, told me what to expect, kept me informed throughout and gave me the opportunity to ask any questions. I felt very comfortable and feel like I received great care. The nurse assisting (Sharon) was also friendly and caring. I couldn’t have asked for anything better!
