I saw Patrick initially in June 2016 with a tight hamstring. He quickly got to the bottom of that but this revealed broader problems with my running technique which needed addressing and were causing ongoing Achilles tendonopathy. Patrick's combination of physio expertise and knowledge and understanding of bio-mechanics and running technique is very powerful. This, combined with a flexible and pragmatic approach to re-hab worked well for me and I'm pleased to say I'm running pain-free again. Just need to get my fitness back now! I would definitely recommend Patrick and work with him again should the need arise.

I came to Patrick in November 2017 with a dislocated knee and with no sign of an NHS physio appointment since the initial event so things weren't looking great. The detail he looks into is not only about addressing the injury but also looking at weakness which may have caused it. The hour trek from north London to Battersea has been worth it in return for the patience and treatment I have received from him and would honestly recommend him to anyone particularly if you want to get back to sport as quickly as possible. He's very realistic about the amount of exercises you do and 2months in when I did eventually get in the NHS loop he adapted his exercises around what they had even me too. He also has a sense of humour when you do stupid dancing you shouldn't be during the party season and make things worse than they were!!! I'm now in my last couple of sessions as I'm hopping on and off things running etc and I'll be back playing tag rugby again soon. I wouldn't hesitate to make the trek to Battersea in the future. Thanks Patrick!

Patrick has been helping me since I tore my Achilles tendon in the summer. He has been patient and encouraging but mainly is just so incredibly knowledgeable. He has devised just the right kind of exercises to get me walking properly again - always setting the bar just a little bit higher (figuratively speaking). I would thoroughly recommend him.

Paddy is an awesome physio, I have seen a number of different physios over the years with sporting injuries - Paddy is the best that I have met. I had two fairly serious hip injuries when Paddy first began working with me, fast forward 9 months and he re-modeled my running technique - enabling me to complete my first Ironman. I recommend with any hesitation at all.

After a life of little physical activity Patrick is helping me get into better shape. He has devised an exercise program that is tailored to my needs, and which is always challenging. Overall a very positive experience.

Profile

MCSP HCPC

Patrick qualified as a Sports Rehabilitator and Trainer from St. Mary’s University College, Twickenham in 2008. In 2009 Patrick joined up with the Indian Athletics Medical Team and was placed in charge of assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries. Patrick attended the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi where the Indian Athletics Team surpassed their medals target by 300%, collecting a total of 12 Medals.

Subsequently, Patrick undertook consultancy work for Mittal Champions Trust who sponsors elite athletes in India. He looked after individual wrestlers and shotgun shooters in the build up to and during the 2012 London Olympics where his athletes collected a silver and bronze medal.

Patrick has recently completed an MSc in Physiotherapy at Brighton University adding another string to his bow. Patrick strongly believes in manual therapy techniques integrated with functional kinetic chain rehabilitation. This enables patients to fully recover from their dysfunction and return to their activities stronger than before. Further to this, Patrick feels patient education is paramount to ensure a quick return to full fitness as the patient will then be able to identify bad habits and correct them by themselves.
