I was very impressed with my Optician, Paul, who took time to listen to me and thoroughly checked my eyes and explained everything really well. He was thorough and professional and I was extremely happy with my experience. Melanie is a credit to Boots at Chesterfield too. Thoroughly professional, very caring and explained everything to perfection. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she makes you feel at ease - you can tell that she has years experience in the job and yet she still has passion and commitment to caring for customers. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming, considerate and professional. Lauren, a trainee, checked me in and carried out the measurements/tests before I had the consultation with the optician. She was very competent and customer friendly. The optician was very clear, professional, friendly and happy to explain his findings. I gave each of them positive feedback face to face, and I'm pleased to confirm it here. Arranging the appointment was unsatisfactory. First I tried and failed with online booking: despite the screen clearly showing that I'd entered my date of birth the system said (twice) that I hadn't entered it. I then dialled the 0345 number and wished I'd called the branch direct because of how long it took to fix the appointment.
