It was good because the overall health of my eyes was looked at. I even had a test done which I previously had to attend the hospital for. I felt I was treated s an individual. The staff were all curtious and friendly.

After initial examination I saw optometrist and got a trial of contact lenses different to my current ones. A few weeks later I had a follow up appointment and saw Caroline and Steve for a check on how the new lenses fitted and to discuss any problems I might have with them. As a result it was suggested that my prescription was tweaked a little bit. These two were the friendliest and most informative people I have had and I learned a lot from them.

I have been struggling with both my glasses prescription and my contact lens prescription. Despite several trials of new lenses and wearing glasses for reading and another pair for driving, I asked for a further appointment as my sight is compromised with both glasses and my lenses. Mittal really listened to my concerns (it was the first time I'd seen him) - he checked and re-checked and ordered more trial multifocal daily lenses for me to try in advance of being seen again next week.

Gabriella, greeted me upon arrival, checked my details and immediately put me at ease. She then proceeded to explain what was happening and why, all this was delivered in a most curtious and friendly manner. All the machines were cleaned prior to my being asked to place my head/chin on the appropriate places. The instructions were clear with explanations given throughout. I was then taken to the Optician, Gabriella introduced me to him and vice versa. The Optician Satnam, was very professional at all times, but friendly and chatty too, again I felt at ease. After my eye exam, Gabriella once again talked me through the next stage, helping me to choose the right spectacles for me, at no time was I made to feel rushed, despite the department being extremely busy. I am happy to say nothing at all about my experience could be improved upon. Well done and thank you. Linda Patrick

I felt rather vulnerable as I arrived for my appointment. The staff recognised this and treated me compassionately and with empathy. They were able to reassure me and put my mind at rest. I was offered choices and given the opportunity to consider my course of action. When I returned the following day the staff recognised me and remembered why I'd been there the previous day. I placed my order and everything was explained fully to me. I will be returning next week to collect my first pair of glasses. Thank you for providing this wonderful service.
