Really helpful staff. I went there about 18 months ago and they were good. This time they were even better. Chris couldn’t have been more patient and helpful. Really 1st Class service. The frames he suggested I might like weren’t in stock so he lent me his to try. I ended up ordering a pair!!!

I felt that the whole examination process was well organised and very professional from initial photographs of my eye taken by Chris, the friendly dispenser, to the thorough eye check and contact lens check by Zabir, the Optometrist. The history of my contact lens wear was established and discussed in detail and it transpired that I have astigmatism in both eyes warranting particular contact lenses. Although I had confessed that I have been buying my lenses from Vision Direct on line, I was told verbally that my lenses would 'probably cost about £42/43 a month' However, I was not shown a leaflet with lens prices that confirmed this. I have signed up for monthly payments as I feel it is important to look after and respect my eyes, but in retrospect would have liked to come home and looked at the figures before signing up for a monthly direct debit. Otherwise, a very good experience in the hands of opticians that do care about offering the best options available.

From the moment I walked in I was treated professionally and with respect. The site is clean and well laid out, with private consultation rooms. The equipment is modern and hygienic. All aspects of my consultation were dealt with in a professional manner, the Optometrist (Zabir Ali) explained exactly what I could expect from the examination, as did the dispenser (Gintaras). Once my prescription had been identified I was talked through the various options in relation to the lens and the different type of filtration in relation to light etc. The choice of frames were plentiful and in various price ranges, fitting all pockets. I did not feel pressured in choosing and if act were offered various priced frames to try on before making my final choice, thank you Gintaras for your patience! I would highly recommend Boots in New Milton.

I called into the branch without appointment on 5th July having trod on my glasses. I was unsure if they could be repaired and expected that if they could they would need to be sent away. I was seen without delay by Elizabeth who repaired them on site and without charge. 10/10 for prompt and expert service. Thank you Elizabeth and Boots New Milton.
