The Optometrist was Zabin Ali & he gave me a thorough eye test and answered all my questions also prescribing various things to assist with my ingrowing eyelash problem. The dispenser wasChris & he was wonderful! He was so patient& gave me all the info firstly about the medications for ingrowing eye lashes then we discussed new glasses asAli had sugg shed new glasses. This was my first time at Boots & I rang this morning to see if th e optician would remove some eye lashes which were scratching my eyeball, Chis answered & gave me an appointment at 2pm so I was already delighted. Because of this I ended up spending £768. Odd with you! Had I been refused the eye lash removal on the phone I would never have come in to the shop. Having got me in there I was given an eye test & so on, & ended up with £48 of medication & two new pairs of glasses!! Chris was not at all pushy, very friendly and extremely helpful, I thought he was lovely. (Incidentally I am 80 so many young men would have been disinterested & offhand). Both Chris & Ali are fantastic at their jobs & delightful to customers, consequently I shall be using Boots in the future, I was mightily impressed.

I went into boots at new Milton, my glasses were bent as my dog sat on them, Neil served me and straighten out my glasses , so great full, the service was great and all the staff were very friendly, having brought them at boots I would definitely recommend them.

I have been wearing contact lens for many, many years. Since moving to New Milton I started getting my contact lens by post from Boots Opticians. I pay monthly by direct debit and every third month, my new lens arrive. I wear my lens every day for approximately 12 hours but also have a pair of varifocal glasses as back-up which I very seldom use. During my eye-test it was discovered that the prescription in my right eye needed tweaking slightly, consequently my next delivery of lens will be slightly different. Because my contact lens prescription needed adjusting, it meant that my glasses also needed changing. Varifocul glasses are very expensive and, as the prescription was to be amended only slightly, I really didn't want to pay for a new pair. £225 is a lot to pay for something you might only use 5 times per year. However, the dispensing person Gintaras, put an extreme amount of pressure on me to buy the new glasses, so much so that it made me feel very uncomfortable. I said I couldn't afford to pay £225 straight after Christmas and he was adamant he would call me at the end of February to collect my deposit for new glasses. I guess he was on commission but I can honestly say that I didn't appreciate the pressure he was putting on me.

My optometrist was called zabir and was really helpful and friendly my dispenser was called gintaras Ali and was friendly and helpful and was very nice

David The Optometrist was very efficient and pleasant. However, what can I say about the Dispenser Steph D. She is an absolute gem, somehow she picked out frames for me that were (a) similar in colour and shape to what I have already (although she didn’t know this) and (b) what I’d be looking for again. The first pair, for my long distance, were perfect, and with my reading glasses I opted for her second suggestion. All in all a very pleasant experience with great friendly staff. Thank you.
