I nearly gave up on this branch a few years ago, with its consistently poor service. What kept me coming back was the outstanding optometrist, George. Going to see him for a check-up, I was delighted to find the supporting customer staff also delivering a much improved service: prompt, professional, friendly, and inspiring confidence that they knew what they were doing. Well done Paternoster Square for turning it around.

I was not satisfied with my prescription after the first consultation. I contacted the store to clarify my questions. The staff were friendly and polite but suggested I spoke to the optometrist in between his scheduled appointments, this was a bit of a waste of everyone's time. After speaking to the optometrist I arranged a follow up consultation that evening. He then did a like for like comparison between my existing and new prescription and gave me more detail about what my prescription means and when I should be wearing glasses.
