Practitioner was friendly, informative and helped me out with an issue I was having with my stoma by suggesting and supplying a product I could use. Very useful visit which will enable me to care for my stoma better going forward

Profile
I have been a registered nurse since 2007 and a prescribing nurse since 2017. I joined the Connect service as a specialist prescribing stoma nurse in 2020. Since joining the team I have completed in house training in stoma care and completed a university module in advanced stoma care in 2021.
Prior to joining the team I worked as a practice nurse with a specialist interest in diabetes and also at Queens Medical Centre in the head and neck department.
