I couldn’t find fault with my visit. [name removed] was welcoming & made me feel comfortable. His explanations of the exercises he suggested & the reasons why/benefits of were very easy to understand. He listened patiently to all I had to say and was very reassuring.

[name removed], the person I saw, listened to me explain my symptoms and concerns. She then proceeded to do a thorough examination after which she explained clearly what will happen next and the possible outcomes.

The hospital in Newbury has easy parking and is not expensive, easy access to the hospital on foot even for people with disabilities, the lady i saw in physiotherapy was very helpful, professional ,caring and very understanding, she was very easy to talk to and took all my concerns on board, appointments were easy to arrange and were always made with my input and to fit around me .

Physio therapist was a pleasant young man and really did support me but 3 weeks waiting for another appointment I think is unreasonable and I should be seeing someone again sooner. Told I couldn't use the gym equipment to help with my recovery but to buy my own exercise bike? That is totally not on as I'm poor and can barely make ends meet as it is! Equipment should be made accessible to all. I have had a TKR.

More help and support with doing the exercises, being seen again earlier than in 3 weeks time and being able to use your small gym instead of unrealistically being told to BUY a exercise bike when I'm poor and can't afford to buy one and yet you have several in your gym! My physiotherapy will be now delayed because of that as cycling is an important exercise after having a TKR

Staff wonderful but it’s not the right hospital for my Mum. Hopefully she will be moved to a specialist unit who can offer her the care she needs

Staff listened and gave confidence for me to give answers and information as to the treatment I have had and ongoing. I was treated with respect at all times in a comfortable atmosphere not feeling in anyway of a time restraint.
