The servoce I received when I arrived was as excellent as usual. However, the booking is not fit for purpose. See below.

Whenever I have had to book a blood test at WBCH the first available dates are no less than SIX WEEKS in the future. For a kidney patient this is not practical, since the notice I get from my consultant can be to have a test often within a week. Worse, cancelling a test and rebooking because of other medical reasons means yet another SIX WEEK delay. On several occasions I have been forced to go to Reading and have a blood test at RBH since getting a local one was impossible.
