20th December 2022

I was in the MIU on Thursday 1st December in the evening. I quite quickly saw a Nurse with longish blonde hair ( called Nat... ) She was amazing, kind, empathetic and very patient. She really treated me as an individual and made me feel like the most important person in the room. I also found it so lovely that she had a bit of time to listen to me and hear about why my life was so stressful at the moment. I came away with excellent treatment for my finger and a little weight lifted from my shoulders because someone had the time to listen. I hope she gets to see this so she is thanked for what she did. And make sure she knows my finger is fine and everything she did, then advised me to do, I followed to the letter and it's now getting better as the skin is growing back. The lady on Reception was also very kind and didn't chide me in any way for not phoning first- but I'll know for next time!

Suggested improvements
Nothing-I wouldn't change a thing. The NHS is a brilliant service that we are very lucky to have in this country and I am truly grateful to be able to walk in, have my details pulled up instantly, get treated and not pay a penny. Thank you everyone and have a wonderful Christmas, a Happy New Year and hopefully a much deserved pay rise.
