I was given superb care by Dr. Patodi, and the other staff in the theatre - Olie, Kate, Hannah, and Shelagh. My impression of the whole set-up in the West Berks Community Hospital was great, from the minute that I arrived to the minute I left. I'm aware that I haven't mentioned the nurse who completed my check-in. She was equally good and reassuring - sorry I didn't catch her name! The facilities appeared new, large and well-maintained. The theatre area felt enormous. My only negative was the car park. I had no coins and there was no easy way to pay without coinage. I was unable to use the digital facilities advertised on the machines. In the event I was helped by a lady (patient or staff, I don't know) who GAVE me 2 pounds in cash. I offered her a fiver, but she wouldn't accept. What an angel!!
