A&E staff were really lovely to my daughter.
My elderly mother was the patient and she was treated well and with respect and I was consulted regarding decisions and treatment for her. Time in A&E 5 hours which was very good as it was extremely busy
I was a visitor to the area and had to attend Warwick minor injuries. I would have liked an update as to how long I would be waiting before being initially seen but I understand that this is often difficult. Once initially seen I was given my x-Ray and subsequent results, treatment and advice very quickly
I was well looked after and in a very timely manner. Staff were all kind
.
Waiting time after initial check up was going to be too long. My nose bleed stopped shortly on Ariel but I decided to be checked out. I was informed a doctor would see me but after 2 hours that hadn’t happened. My nose bleed didn’t reoccur so I checked out. The entrance doors where open all the time and I was extremely cold.
I went to A and E at 2.20 am as was unable to swallow at all. No water, my spittle or food. There were only 4 people ahead of me; foot and leg issues were 2 of them . I was still not seen by 6 am and there seemed no air of efficiency or urgency. The one doctor I saw seemed to taking over 40 mins per patient. I sat in the waiting room feeling so I unwell it was obvious to triage that someone needed to just spend 5 minutes looking in my mouth and send me away with pain killers or antibiotics. I was scared because I could not swallow and said this to triage as when I tried to sleep I kept jolting awake as my throat was closing that’s why I came to A and E
Finally it should have been my turn but no one came back into reception for an hour and a half and by this time I was dehydrated, cold and no longer able to sit there so I left broken hearted by what I have always regarded as a wonderful service.
I don’t think they were in undated with ambulances and the continued laughing and so forth I could hear from behind the doors did not make believe there was any urgency to see people quickly and efficiently who had waited almost all night.
I cut my holiday short to uk flew back to Guernsey and revived treatment there the next morning
I couldn’t have wished for better care or service. The whole team were fantastic and were working hard to keep waiting times down but at the same time being extremely thorough.
You hear a lot of negative things regarding the NHS. I can only speak as I find. My experience was the best. Thank you NHS
Could not fault
Reception & sho and ent dr were fantastic, senior dr seemed a big judgemental which hard with communication with us seeing my son has asd, triage nurse was awful and not caring or friendly
