Bit of a long wait - but that couldn’t be helped. Staff were amazing! Well done! Far better than the terrible treatment I experienced 2 months earlier at Leighton!

The service from A&E to surgery and after care on Macgregor Ward was excellent. We were kept informed of what was happening at all times.

As my son was kept in overnight we were able to stay with him but some form of financial help with regards to the car parking would be helpful

Paramedic staff were amazing and initial triage was excellent. Bloods were done in 2/3 hours but by then my case was non-urgent. However if that could have been passed onto me then I would not have stayed 9hours in the waiting room. A simple change in process would be to tell patients their issue has been triaged as non-urgent. I got a phone call from the emergency Dr who told me my results and that a GP appointment was needed. I imagine the communication for those triaged as non-urgent could be improved and save a lot of patients waiting to be told to see their GP.

Communicate that my presentation is non urgent once bloods have arrived. That takes 2 mins to look at bloods and case history and tell someone waiting. I was happy to go if this was explained.

I was seen promptly and although a suspected broken ankle turned out to be a sprain - they still give me the benefit of the doubt as I was flying the next day and needed to be sure it wasn’t broken as I couldn’t bear any weight on the foot All the staff were friendly and informative and for the bad rep a and e get I’m always really happy with Warwick

The only thing is to have more self wheelable chairs for people on their own who are temporary disable with their injury
