I’m entitled to patient transport, because of all my medication I’m on and having full knee replacement, I was told that I could not have Transport and I had to walk from Stratford-upon-Avon to get the bus to Kineton and because of my medication I fell a sleep on the bus and ended up in Banbury, so I’d like to make a formal complaint about this

The treatment I received was great, everyone was very kind but I was there about 6 hours which isn't really acceptable, this is through no fault of any staff working but because you are so terribly under resourced. I was in agony with a broken ankle and it took hours to find anyone to ask for painkillers after my initial dose. It's quite traumatic being in pain and having to just sit and wait for hours without any clear indication of how long you will be there. I have great sympathy for those working as they are working flat out.

Communicated how long I was going to be there, offered 2nd dose of painkillers sooner.

Whilst I had to wait 7 hours at A and E, which was not ideal, I was triaged in this time and had a scan/ was provided with medication. The staff were friendly, compassionate and understanding and did their best under the circumstances. The hospital could do with updating but was clean.
