The best appointment was being discharged as there was a full explanation of the crisis team service not really explained previously. Phone calls not too helpful.

For people who have an understanding of their situation, more of a descriptive or why they are feeling as they are, with acknowledgement of their knowledge of their self.

Staff were kind and compassionate, showed care for the answers and did not push for information when I struggled respond.
Suggested improvements
Slight miscommunication for appointments was told one time over the phone, but a completely different time and day when I turned up.

Staff listened and offered solutions to some of my
Stressors . Staff genuinely felt on my side , and by letting me stay voluntarily a bit longer , I was able to see people, making it a fully MDT experience - thank you

The joined up care with the community is not there . My cc was not in ward round or came to the the ward at all and from what I gather there has been no communication - and this is not uncommon

I’ve had many admissions over the years to ruby ward . The staff react aggressively, the consultant(s) are uncaring and will discharge a person even if they are actively suicidal , and told to their faces and if you have an sort of PD diagnosis don’t expect any support .
The ward “information pack” is 7 documents just handed to you , rather than gone through and the staff appear to have little interest in giving 1-1 support when requested
