I wouldn't recommend a psychiatric ward unless necessary.
The thing that was good about the care, was the positive outcome.
It is an unfortunate fact that we didn't know anything about the mental health treatment, etc and had a fear and prejudices born out of ignorance.
I'm immensely grateful to the AVAMHT for the help they have given me through my illness. Special mention for Steve who has been instrumental to my recovery. Thank you and please keep up the amazing work!
Help with expenses.

Doctor isn’t really good and professional. He listens to the patient and doesn’t rush. Most of the staff Arenea really friendly and helpful. It is really scary to come on to the ward so I would have needed more help and Support on the first few days as everything can be very daunting.
Laura and Rachel, brilliant ones.
There are very good rather.
Exceptional staff, on the other hand there are a few who absolutely don’t care.
As I said there is exceptional good people, ward provided the best care. However there are few who spoiled
At night it is noisy, which means I have struggled to sleep very well on the ward. There have been times when it has been assumed I want porridge for breakfast but I don't always. I have been well involved with activities and the gym, which I have enjoyed. The OT are good and I really liked the church services on the ward which I was quite involved with.
