The whole experience of feeling safe was brilliant
Nothing good I’m afraid, except 3 meals per day, regular meds’ and sleep.
Improvements:
Listen to the patient rather than judge them as a person lacking insight on their condition simply because they disagree with your assessments. Try to understand and support a patient who expresses corn about the effects of recent trauma.
At all times record a patients honest observations of themselves accurately and fairly, avoiding error and omission which de-contextualises their statements and actions .

I am currently seeing a psychologist on a regular basis after a referral from my psychiatrist. I am finding the sessions invaluable. The psychologist is very kind and empathetic. I was amazed to be offered 20 sessions on the NHS. I think the therapy will be life changing for me.
