On this occasion everything has worked well so far. (the actual procedure has not yet taken place), except there scared to be a communication breakdown about when I arrived on the ward. This let to no doctors/anaesthetist seeing me for 90 minutes after I arrived.

Individual staff are kind and responsive - but the MDU is understaffed. It was a long wait to get started, staff looked very stressed and rushed, wait to get off cold cap, take cannula out. Stressful for staff and patients.
