All treatments have been good but having been on a trial (Javelin) there have been some extreme side effects requiring hospitalisation. This has meant a trip to a local A and E hospital who do not know or understand the drug being trialed. It would be much better, in fact a necessity to have beds available to trial patients at RMH. It would cause less response to treatment as the hospital will have knowledge of the trial drugs. It would also be a great relief to both staff and patients to have more phlebotomists to prevent waiting times for bloods.
