I have every confidence in my nurses has she has been very helpful and informative.
The various members of the staff listened.
My thanks to Claire and Maisie.
Wellbeing programme.
Unfortunately I was unable to convince the patient to attend as I feel she would have found the activities would have helped her well being.
The understanding, respect, compassion shown by everyone.
Also really appreciated the open and frank discussions/ conversations with Kate. I needed to here it straight, needed a focus.
The palliative care received at the end of life was very much appreciated; however, I would have liked more of it. The physical care provided only came during the last 2 days of my partner's life and not at the time of day I really needed it, which was overnight.
I cannot fault the care provided by the two nurses I saw. They were both extremely kind and sensitive to the patient's condition and needs. The last nurse I saw, who was present at the patient' death (nurse name Mickey) and arrived only very shortly before he died, dealt quickly and sensitively with the situation, allowing me time to spend with the patient in his last few minutes whilst discreetly making herself scare.
Very caring and understanding.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Very very helpful.
I cannot speak too highly of the care given.
You all were superb.
Reassuring to know there is someone to contact for support and who keeps in contact with us regularly. Having people who know how the process works and where and what help there in available.
