Improve communication when asking patients to move rooms/beds.(Respite patient.)
The care was great ant thay helped me.
Sleeped better than I had ever done.
The only fault seems to be all over in the fact that no one listens. Everyone seem to be pre empine what you are going to say. So everything that should be straight foward becomes an order correct.
Very friendly staff.
Willing to keep me/family informed of changes in treatment and changes in my condition.
Like using Tavistock base, and will be very sorry to lose pearn as very long journey.
Everything i've experience here has helped in everyday of leaving Derriford hospital which have been since middle of July & moved with any told days & now were 4 weeks later 14.8.14. All I could say is just in a helpful & one thing needed with/without mobile phone is an outside line (phone). But is truly a very, caring & supported home & has meant to much to me throughout mystery.
I found they actually sat down with you and listened to what was being said and acted on it.
They were thinking of me and asked me things as well as looking after Derek.
The nurses are all kind, sensitive and understanding. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they always have a smile on their face.
Sometimes it can be a bit quiet on the ward and it would be nice if the nurses could just sit and chat.
Able to contact and receive advice with a very caring attitude.
Continuity between nurses when your alloted nurse is unavailable.
