This session was about my future care, putting contacts and arrangements into place ahead to the time when I will need palliative care and support from the extended team this has served to reassure my self and my wife that we will not be alone as my illness proceeds towards terminal care.
It has also importantly, opened up opportunities for discussions re end of life.

I cannot begin to express our thanks as a family for the care that both the patient and we received whilst he was under the care of St Helena. From the moment we met Emma we knew we were in safe hands! The care she showed for both the patient and myself was immense. Even towards the end of the patient's life, Emma treated him as though he was very important and made him feel so at ease. She has also been an important support for me since the patient has died and will continue to be. Thank you, Emma!!
