They could have not done any more to help my mum in her time she was with them, or help us in any way.
24-7 any time they were there for her and us all.
Thanks.
Wendy was understanding, caring and she always listened even when I felt I was going on about nothing. My session was never rushed and it seemed like she had all the time in the world for me. I mattered to her and felt it. She really helped me when I couldn't help myself.
My father died earlier this week. He had been suffering from cancer of the bile duct and treated partly at Colchester Hospital and partly privately in Harley Street. When he became too weak to make the journey to London, we were told "don't worry - you're really lucky. The palliative care team in your area is really excellent."
And so you were! Everyone from the people who took our calls and referred us to the right people, the community nurses especially - Rachel, Yvonne - I wish I could remember all your names, you who tended to my father at any hour of the day and night that we called on you, as he lay dying and were so very kind to all of us. Also Doctor - Farouq? -again I am so sorry we didn't catch your name, but we thought it so good of you to give us so much of your time. My father died in our arms, with all six of his children holding and supporting him. You all made it possible for him to die with dignity, free from too much distress. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

She was caring, kind, considerate and made me feel wanted by someone.
I don't think the care can be improved.
Going to the hospice some mornings feeling quite rough but on leaving 5 hours later with the help of Julie and Tanya the breathing exercises and exercises feeling so much better. All the volunteers were helpful too.
Only downfall being such a small group and understandable because of health problems.
Very pleased with the care and attention. Satisfied
Was so nice to have Andrea visit me. I felt that was very nice of her kindness to help me and explain things to me.
Her visit gave me security.
Thank you.
All the nurses/doctors.
Nurses wear mini skirts - joke made.
Good.
