We have been overwhelmed by the care, kindness, thougtfulness and professionalism of the staff. Every single person has been amazing. We will never be able to thank you enough.
There is nothing at all I could fault.
Best things:
- The wonderful staff.
- The clean, well equipped rooms and facilities.
- The beautiful grounds.
- The care and thought put into meals.
- Refreshments for patient families.
My dad could not have been in a better place for his last days. heartfelt thanks.
May God bless you all.
From the beginning to the end the whole care, information and understanding was outstanding.
The knowledge to help me for the future was so useful but also I felt comfortable and relaxed to talk about everything as normally I never like to be a bother.
Very satisfactory.
Explanation of problem/cause was well explained.
My mum recently passed away at St Catherines and i can't praise the staff enough for the kindness and dignity they showed my mum. She loved it, being treated with respect, mum said i don't have to get up early, she thought that was wonderful after previously being in hospital, she was left to eat what she could when she wanted which was very little with no pressure. When the staff found out mums last wish was to see her grand daughter married all the stops were pulled out, daily trials in a special wheelchair, her feet done, hair done, big bubble bath which she went on and on about, she went to the wedding on Saturday 5th August and died on Monday 7th August. I don't know how to thank the wonderful staff who made my mum feel special, cared for and safe and all the effort made from getting her ready on the morning of the wedding she looked beautiful, making sure she had the right amount of pain relief during the day and back up pain relief, then when mum got back after the wedding looking after her, back in bed to sleep. You truly are a wonderful team xxx
I was visiting the hospice for the first and I never understood as a charity what St.Catherines did. It was amazing the care they offer and the grounds itself, better than some private nursing homes I've seen! Offered family/friends free coffee, tea etc and staff were lovely and helpful. Would more than likely to recommend.
My father has just passed away in St. Catherine's Hospice.
We have been overwhelmed by the care, kindness and professionalism of the staff and volunteers here. It is a beautiful place containing beautiful people. Dad's room was spotless, well equipped and had a lovely garden view. The meals were perfect and if dad didn't want anything from the menu he could just ask for what he wanted and it was brought to him. As a family we were made so welcome, we were given amazing support and any information we wanted. Nothing is too much trouble for these people. Every care is taken.
We have spent 9 days in this Hospice and there is not a single thing I would fault. Anyone who spends their last few days here is truly blessed.
Thank you all so much. I will never forget your kindness. Julie x
