Befriending.
- Good - psychological support.
It gives me company whilst my husband is able to go out shopping and pay bills at the back.
Very helpful staff- friendly without being over familiar.
I felt as though Lucy really wanted to get to the root of the problem and readily offered useful general advice as regards managing my condition and to look out for any problems. The only improvement I can suggest is better signage from the main car park to the lymphedema clinic.
A quicker response by community palliative care is needed following release from hospital, particular when patient very on well and has stage 4 cancer. It was just over 2 weeks when physical contact was made and this is not acceptable. As a former employee of LCFT I found this to be deeply worrying and very stressful without myself, my mother would have been left without support or help with meds and appointments. It is a management issue, not an issue with the CN's who were faultless in their approach.
Everything was good very professional no improvement needed in my care.
The empathy and understanding of the situation we are in knowledge of the whole health service and how it operates in relation to someone living with terminal cancer. The accessibility of St. Catherines with regard to myself as a disabled carer and my partner.
It was personal, supportive and friendly. I was reliable and professional.
Physiotherapy time was unsatisfactory.
Found the E.M.S supportive excellent communicator giving one time for any questions.
Nothing to improve on the care was excellent.
