Our mother only spent 36 hours at the Hospice but both Mum and her daughter's were well looked after, explained how the hospice works, due to Covid what the restrictions are, how the hospice is continuing to work, how visitors arrive, logged, PPE sorted and then shown to their loved one. Met with doctor and nurses to explain Mum's treatment, how Mum would be looked after, food and drink explained and we were offered food and drink as well. Explained what would happen as Mum deteriorated, family asked to attend which we did arrive in time to spend time with Mum. Senior Nurse explained what would happen next with Mum when she had passed away and were given plenty of time with Mum before leaving and given hearts and offered as much help if we were willing to accept. Felt very comforted when leaving knowing was in a safe place.
The nurse was lovely and empathetic made me feel involved and comfortable.
The care I received was faultless. I could not have been treated any better.
Your staff must be hand picked! They are wonderful.
Very informative and caring.
Listened to my fears and worked around them.
I was 4 weeks in St. Catherine's, and could not be visited by my family, due to the virus. The staff could not have been better.
They were marvelous at trying to make-up for that. The care and kindness from all staff could not be faulted. Taking me a walk round the grounds and sitting under the Venda was so lovely. The food was extremely good. Everyone consumed could not have been better.
I have been very fortunate to have been cared for so well.
Thank you so much St. Catherine's.
Very detailed explanation, great knowledge gained. Great treatment by Julie and Sue.
Answers to our questions were put in a way that was understandable.
There was no hurry to the visit. We were all as a family put at ease as to what was going to happen in the near future.
