My husband deteriorated rapidly after discharge from hospital. District nurses reacted promptly and were very responsive in easing his passing and supporting me to give him the opportunity to die at home.

Suggested improvements
It would have helped if the initial visit was more prompt on his arrival home because carers would not touch the hospital bed and matters until nurses had set it up, so he could not go to bed.

I got { } throughout my stay in hospital although ongoing advice regarding me looking after my fractured vertebrae was not given. I have since requested some advice.

Suggested improvements
I had an urgent consultation on the 10th December. I was admitted to ward and there was a big gap between pain relief. There should have been clear instruction for me to have immediate morphine administered.
