I would like to thank Karen Burdett for the caring and sensitive way that she prepared my dad for my mum's passing. He was a little in denial but after discussing the reality of the situation he was more able to deal with what that evening held for us all. Although mum did not need the hospice. We are grateful that she died in the familiar nursing home and not in hospital.
