My family and I will be forever grateful for the compassionate care my father received in his final days of life at St Catherine’s after being transferred from Royal Preston Hospital’s Critical Care Unit following his life sustaining treatment being withdrawn, when he was sadly unable to recover from Pneumonia post surgery. The homely hospice environment and amazing team made such a huge difference to our experience and we were so pleased that David was finally able to be brought out of hospital to a comfortable and peaceful place after a long hospital stay. This made all the difference to our lasting memories. You are all wonderful, thank you again for providing patients and families with such a special and vital service.
