The meeting was carried out in a very caring and sympathetic manner. Maxine listened to our concerns regarding our mother and our ambition to try and keep her at home, in as comfortable and pain free manner as possible. She explained how we could manage her care and what medication she was now putting in place to try and achieve this one. She explained who our contact points were if necessary and she also put our minds at rest, advising that mum would not need to go to hospital but would, if necessary, be admitted to the hospice. From our point of view, this meeting left us relieved and a little more confident that we can carry out mum's wishes to remain at home, I would just again say how we appreciated the visit and the professional and very caring way it was carried out.
