It is all good.
Thank you for your overall positive comment about our services and recommendation. We assume as you were happy with the service you scored us all 1's because you thought this was the high score. Please let us know if this is not the case by calling the Director of Patient Care on: 01803-210802.
It made me feel that someone did care and that I had not been abandoned. I appreciated the words of encouragement as much as the hands on treatment. I felt much better after each visit. So very grateful to the Rowcroft team.
You made me feel at ease learnt a lot.
Very caring staff. Very good food.
The care in the very later stage of my mother's illness was excellent. I am very grateful to the hospice at home nurses who came when called for the first time on the day of my mother's death to insert a syringe driver. A nurse was left with us until the evening after she had died which was a great comfort. The senior nurse validated death and explained.
Excellent care. Wonderful nursing staff and supporting staff - social worker/OT physio who all supported me in my discharge home.
See no area for improvement. Very relaxed and efficient care. The environment is spotlessly clean and comforting.
I would like to comment on the following:
Although I was made welcome on arrival, I was not shown around and had to discover staff for myself - when using the Willow ward bathroom I found it difficult to read the instructions - thus I did not find the hot and cold adjustments and burned myself over the first two days. I hope this is a constructive comment and would like to complement everyone on the care given at this marvelous facility. How fortunate we are to have you.
Thank you for your comment. We would like to apologise for any distress caused by you not being shown around. We were not aware you had burned yourself. Following your feedback we will enlarge the instructions in the bathroom and remind staff to inform mobile patients how to use the facilities. Kind regards, Gill
