good
I was extremely impressed with the care and attention I received from the rapid assessment team especially Sarah. The admin team were amazing and caring.
I do not think any thing could be done to improve an excellent system already in place.
Just a big thank you from me to all involved.
Today I had my 5year sign off for Breast Cancer.
From the Mammogram in a mobile unit to my recall and eventual operation and follow up Radiotherapy and check ups and mammograms over the last 5years, I have received nothing but wonderful treatment and all staff I came into contact with kept me informed every step of the way. Discussed what was happening and what I wanted to happen and answered every query I had. Without the mammogram I might not have been here to write this as despite checking myself regularly I was not aware of any lump, so if anyone reads this PLEASE have your FREE mammograms and if you do need treatment try not to be too scared the staff will be with you every step of the way.
I received the highest quality care on every ward I was on. I couldn't thank the staff enough.
Not a fault of the staff, but I was cared for by different nurses every day of my 4 day stay in Ward D5. The lack of continuity might make the experience not as good as it could be. Similarly, I did not see the same Doctor on any day. The staff who did care for me during my stay were all respectful and professional. I have no complaints about my treatment.
The booking procedure is simple and I was seen on time.
I normally see Mr Hodgson but as he had broken his clavicle I saw his registrar today (Simon Wong). He was as charming as Dominic Hodgson always is and I felt comfortable with him. He gave me some good advice re my bladder control, which whilst not dreadful has been an irritation to me of late.
I would be happy to recommend the clinic to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment.
staff were very professional, caring and helpful. the treatment was carefully explained, my questions answered, and risks explained
After a bit of a wait, I was first seen by a nurse and then by a specialist both of who were very nice.
I was then informed about what would happen next.
So, just waiting for a letter now.
I can only offer praise for the fracture liaison service at QA hospital Portsmouth. From arrival to departure I was treated by friendly, efficient and informative staff. All my appointments were dealt with promptly and so no waiting times for me.
Advice about osteoporosis risk was given in a very caring and patient way, and all staff encountered were cheerful and friendly.
There is a minor problem with queuing priority and congestion at Reception because both arriving and leaving patients are dealt with at the same desk, which is sited closed to the doorway.
