I was pleased to be under the care of D1 although once again some of the night staff (Val) didn't help me with the needs i needed when a catheter came out and was in agony for 5 hours. Apart from that all the staff i saw while in the ward were very friendly and helpful and took time for my needs when the news i had wasn't good and also..........want to say thank you to Jane, Rachel and John for helping me celebrate my father's 80th birthday on the Sunday i was there - especially as i couldn't get home for his party that i organised - so thank you
